West Hills Homes Association
The West Hills Homes Association was formed in May 1939 and is comprised of
80 some single family owner occupied properties and seven KU Greek houses in
the West Hills Addition, united by the West Hills Homes Association
Declaration, and their common interest and pride in the area in which they

Board
The business of the Association is conducted at an Annual Meeting held on the first Monday in May, and in bi-monthly meetings of a six-person Board of Directors, three of whom are elected to two-year terms at each annual meeting. The Board, in turn, elects a President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer from the six members.

Accordiing to the Association By-Laws, Board meetings are held immediately following the Annual Meeting and thereafter on the first Monday in July, September, November, January, and March. Messages to the entire Board can be sent to Board@west-hills.org.
Architectural Review
There Architectural Committee reviews all proposals for new construction, as well as any visible alterations or remodeling of existing properties, in order to ensure some degree of architectural consistency in the area. Plans showing intended building and changes must be submitted to this Committee before the start of construction. read more >>>
Assessment
The Association is empowered to levy an assessment of no more than two mills annually, based on the area of each piece of property. This money is used chiefly to maintain the common areas and to provide funds for legal opinions or action when necessary. The proposed budget for the following year is presented for the approval of the membership at the Annual Meeting.
